• Prepare and serve coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and techniques for coffee, espresso, and other beverages.
• Educate customers on our drink menu and make recommendations based on their preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including coffee machines and equipment.
• Operate coffee brewing equipment, including grinders, espresso machines, and drip coffee makers.
• Take orders and process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service and a friendly demeanor.
• Monitor inventory and restock supplies as necessary.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of customers and staff.
• Assist with other tasks as needed, such as cleaning, stocking, and light food preparation.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role in the food service industry.
• Knowledge of various coffee drinks, including espresso, latte, cappuccino, and other specialty drinks.
• Ability to operate coffee-making equipment efficiently.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in food safety or barista training are a plus.
