• Greet and welcome customers as they arrive at the cafe.
• Present menus and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and courteous manner.
• Check on customers to ensure they are enjoying their meals and address any issues promptly.
• Process customer payments using the cafe’s point-of-sale system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down tables and cleaning tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Stay updated on current menu items, specials, and promotions.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service flow.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of cleanliness.
• Positive attitude and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
